Purpose

This open dataset, meticulously crafted through the synergy of 3D deep learning technology and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations, serves as a robust foundation for various advanced engineering applications. It is particularly suited for 3D data processing and machine learning endeavors demanding substantial data volume.
Further, it holds significant potential as structured input data for complex tasks such as surrogate model construction that accounts for performance, performance prediction using deep learning algorithms, and the resolution of inverse problems. This strategic composition accentuates the dataset's multifaceted applicability and value within the specialized realm of mechanical engineering.

About the dataset

This dataset signifies a methodical integration of data augmentation and synthetic data creation, employing 3D deep learning technology with jet engine bracket data that adheres to a well-defined design interface. Stemming from the guidelines of the 'GE Jet Engine Bracket Challenge,' the learning data comprises CAD designs, which have been further enriched with high-quality reconstructed SimJEB data.
The bracket data encapsulates the outcomes for four distinct load scenarios, as examined through a comprehensive structural analysis, and is additionally supplemented with two natural frequency analysis result values. Through the application of unsupervised clustering technology specific to 3D data, the dataset has been systematically segmented into 20 clusters, each classified by shape similarity and containing 50 meticulously curated data entries.
These entries encompass a CAD file, volume mesh file, surface mesh file, analysis nodal result file, solver input file, and preview image file, thereby offering a multifaceted resource that resonates with the complex demands of contemporary mechanical engineering research and development.
